I have an 7 year old 4th generation I pod. It's still running strong, but the battery life span was nowhere near what it used to be. I installed this battery a week ago and it worked great for a couple weeks. For two dollars plus four dollars to ship this seemed to good to be true. It was. The battery worked for about two weeks, and now is completely dead. I'm back to using my old battery. If you are looking to replace an old ipod battery you should probably look elsewhere.
